Eggs, bunnies, and all things Easter.

I’ll always remember Easter and what it meant to me as a child. Waking up to a surprise beside my bed, an extra special breakfast, and the best part of the day…the Easter egg hunt. But have you ever wondered, how the heck we ended up with an Easter bunny instead of an Easter chicken? According to the Christian Church, bunnies and hares would go crazy in the spring time with desire to ‘get busy’ and it would be a time of reproduction symbolizing new life which in turn would come to represent the Resurrection of Christ. Now…so not to focus too much on the holiday and religious aspects, I’m going to share the things that have brought meaning to Easter for me and show you some of the things I’ve found that I’m certain will put you in the Easter spirit!

The Easter Egg Hunt

No matter where these pretty little things hide, the discovery of a colorful, sparkly little treasure tucked carefully the in knot of a tree or placed strategically in the rim of a tricycle is guaranteed to make any child’s Easter Sunday morning one to remember forever.

Decorating Eggs

For me, Easter eggs are eye candy, I love ‘em! Putting them into bowls for the centerpiece of my table, placing them throughout the house over Easter weekend, hanging them like Xmas decorations, they just look gorgeous and I am always so impressed when I see how creative people can be with ideas for decorating them. There seems to be a zillion different ways and they are all quite spectacular. I’ve seen Ukrainian style eggs, lace eggs, speckled effect eggs, chalkboard eggs (yes, you actually paint them with chalkboard paint so your kids can color on them with chalk), marbleized swirling style eggs and yes, I’ve just found one called the pantyhose egg!

Easter Baskets

As a kid I loved thinking about what would be in my basket when I woke up. Would it be the same as last year? Would there be a pair of cozy socks tucked into the jelly beans? A large chocolate chicken that my sister and I would later laugh at biting off its head? A note written on construction paper that would tell us it’s time to go outside to look for eggs? And the treats in my basket were ALWAYS gone before dinner time, hence why I could never finish my turkey.

Easter Supper

Easter supper was something that was anticipated all day, much like waiting for the Easter egg hunt the night before. I have very fond memories standing over the stove watching my mum make gravy and hardly being able to stand waiting until we could eat. Easter dinner usually meant my sister and I got a sip of our parents wine and for a short moment felt totally grown up. It was a time for inspiration, being together, relaxing, and appreciating one another.

What does Easter mean for you? What are some of your fondest memories? Feel free to share…

Ladies, do your Kegels.

What exactly do you imagine when you hear the word Kegal? Some abstract exercise designed for middle aged women who pee when they sneeze? A labour contraction? A weird sex toy? Well, in fact, a Kegel is a contraction of your pelvic floor muscles. Practicng Kegel exercises regularly can lead to enhanced orgasms, ease childbirth and also prevent embarrassing urinary leakage. And gals…FYI, if you’ve ever wondered, and we all have,”Am I tight?”, having strong pelvic floor muscles means your vagina will be a snug fit for your lover! Many factors play a part in contributing to weak pelvic floor muscles such as pregnancy, childbirth, age and even being overweight. So…take a few minutes and get familiar with doing Kegels. The beauty is, you can do them all day long and no one will ever even know! Once you become aware of how to contract these muscles, Kegels can be done anytime, anywhere. So… sit, stand, visit or drive and get your Kegel on! Here’s how.

Think about what happens when you try to stop the flow of urine, a Kegel is that exact contraction. Try putting a finger inside your vagina and squeezing the muscles around your finger, then release, allowing the muscles to relax. Get it? Now, without your finger inserted, unless you prefer it there as an indication you are doing it properly, hold the contraction for a few seconds, then release. After a few tries, hold a little longer before releasing, up to 10 or 15 seconds. Be sure to be aware of the rest of your body and avoid tensing your bum, legs or tummy. Breath deep and gentle and keep the rest of your body relaxed. If you can, do a minimum of 10 contractions, 3 times a day. Consider it an important part of your day like exercising, checking emails or driving to work. Believe me, once you start feeling the benefits of Kegels, you won’t have any problem ‘squeezing it in’ to your day! Pun definately intended!

Does good hubby mean good daddy?

You know he’s the one. For Pete’s sake, you married the guy, didn’t you? And you know there isn’t a whole lot your fella won’t do for you, except maybe answer the phone when it’s your mother calling. Yes, you know it, he really is WONDERFUL! He hunts down your favorite yet hard to find dahlia’s, you can send him to the drug store for tampons, he listens for real when you speak (he passes the “what-did-I-just-say” test almost every time) and, when the weekend rolls around, he’d rather drink wine and get silly with you than have a boys’ night out…well, most weekends at least. Sure, he’s great in the hubby department but how do you know he’ll make a good daddy? All the signs would seem to indicate “yes” but how can you really be sure?

Well, ask yourself, does your man acknowledge other kids when they’re present? Does he talk to them? Is he patient with kids? Is he an uncle or older brother and does he make time to play or babysit? Does he often talk about having his own kids one day and have you asked him why he wants them? If you can answer yes to these questions it would seem that your man’s seed is good to go, or more appropriately, good to sow!

There’s nothing more attractive than a good dad, it’s soul food really. We girls…er…moms don’t need diamonds and pearls to put hearts in our eyes; just give us a guy who will come along to a PTA meeting, carpool for the class field trip and help with a homework assignment and we’re in love – daddy love! As women, we need to know, when bringing a child into the world, that we will have a committed partner along for the journey, the whole journey. We need our daddies to be reliable, nurturing, enthusiastic, flexible and, most importantly, supportive. It’s not just the prospect of a best friend and lover we look for; it’s the promise of a future for a family and a partner that wants it as much as we do.

I stumbled upon this great little picture book, called ‘Porn for new Moms.’ Enjoy the pics, Ladies. Giggle, fantasize, ogle, and good luck finding your perfect daddy.

What the ….?

You’re finally home with baby and, right about now, you’re probably thinking something like: ”Phew. Baby’s here and my body can finally get back to normal.” Well, not so fast mommy! Those alien-like transformations to your body that you’ve been experiencing over the past nine months, they’re not done with you yet. You remember, don’t you? Areolas so big you could mistake them for sand dollars; body odors that had you searching for your husband’s sweat socks; and let’s not forget the cankles! Don’t look now sister but those breasts that you were sole owner of not too long ago are now your baby’s nutritional highway and will be at the disposal of every one of said baby’s whims, wimpers, fusses and squirms for weeks to come. Trust me when I say there’s some weird stuff about to happen to your boobs!

Now, don’t panic. It’s nothing you can’t handle. Over 90% of new mothers will experience some degree of breast milk leakage or the dreaded BML as it is known in certain circles. My mother use to call them “dairy teats”. Fact is, some of you will experience BML for two or three weeks, some of you for up to six months, so best to prepare yourself now.

Picture it, if you can. You haven’t had a night out in what feels like ages and, girl, are you ready! A little nervous, yet jumping for joy, you prepare for your big night out. You think to yourself, first things first. Naturally, now that you’re a mommy, baby always comes first. And what does baby need to survive while mommy is out gallivanting? Milk, of course. So, before you can think about what you’re even going to wear on your first night out in like forever, you march straight to the nursery, grab that unsightly breast pump, strap it on and, with visions of best girlfriends, the sound of laughter and clinking wine glasses to motivate you, you get down to business. You’ll do anything to get a night out even if it means holstering up in a contraption so bizarre looking it could double as a Super Soaker! “Dignity smignity!” That’s what I say.

Ok, milk in abundant supply for the wee one – check! Jeans that cleverly disguise your lingering muffin top – check! A blouse strategically chosen to make “the girls” look their best - check! Everything is in order. You’ve promised your husband that, if he pulls a “Mr. Mom” tonight, he’ll be in for a treat when you return. With sweet anticipation for the grown up fun you’re about to have, you head out into the starry starry night. Before long, you’re ensconced in your favourite candlelit booth in your favourite french bistro with a glass of merlot in your hand surrounded by the mellifluous sound of gossip and laughter emanating from your very best gal pals!

But WOAH! Hold on… WHAT THE…? There it is. You’ve heard about it, maybe you’ve even seen it, but you never thought it would happen to you. An hour into your totally deserved rendezvous with your favorite ladies, you look down and, low and behold, your boobs are leaking like a garden hose and that blouse that was chosen to make the girls look fabulous is very clearly marked with two warm, wet circumferences of breast milk like crop circles in a wheat field visible from outer space. Completely embarrassed, even slightly traumatized – after all, this has never happened to you before – you head for the door like Cinderella on steroids as the clock strikes twelve.

“How can this be happening?” “I pumped plenty of milk!” “Oh my God, this is so embarrassing!” You’ll think these and other thoughts besides but, the truth is, you mustn’t blame yourself and there really isn’t a whole lot you could have done or will be able to do about BML other than to wear breast pads, always carry extras with you, and accept breast milk leakage as a natural part of motherhood. Sure, BML is inconvenient. Sure, it’s embarrassing. But, weighed against the physical and emotional benefits of breastfeeding your baby, it’s a small sacrifice for a mother to make.

And, for the record, that handyman husband of yours is wrong. This is one problem that duct tape can’t fix.

As a last thought on the subject, one explanation offered for the BML phenomenon is said to be the sound of your baby’s cries which act as a biological trigger that results in your breasts becoming engorged with milk and, consequently, leaking uncontrollably. Women have reported that the sound of any baby crying, whether their own child or someone else’s, will set them aleaking. Some believe mom doesn’t even have to be within earshot of baby’s cries. Baby can be at home and mom at the shopping mall and, still, when baby cries, mom leaks.

Be it fact, ficton or just some old wive’s tale – I leave it for you to decide.

Are we getting the wrong message?

You’re waiting in your doctor’s office for one of your seemingly countless pre-natal visits. You are comfortably but definitely not glamorously clad in those stretch tights you love so much and an oversized t-shirt. You’re leafing through this month’s issue of People Magazine when there she is, spread out across the magazine’s high gloss centerfold, the most glamorous, breathtaking, flawless picture of the pregnant Christina Auguilara. Her skin soft and smooth as a baby’s bottom, her hair full and silky, her make-up startlingly beautiful, the outline of her shape a series of geometrically perfect curves – even you find her irresistable. You find yourself glued to the page. Your eyes scan every inch of her maternal beauty while you swallow your envy in great gulps. You are lost in her perfection.

Only moments later, as you lay on the doctor’s table sporting a mint green, triple tie gown and mismatched socks while your doctor spreads jelly over your tummy with a fetal doppler, you find yourself recalling the image of the pregnant blonde bombshell and you are suddenly overcome by feelings of inadequacy. You say to yourself : “Why doesn’t my skin look like that?” ”My boobs are not that perky?” “If only I had hair like that.” “I wish I didn’t have these stretch marks.” “My belly doesn’t look like that.”

Such feelings are perfectly natural when confronted with the picture of pregnancy perfected. The truth, of course, is that the Christina Aquilera in the magazine’s centerfold exists only there, as an image, an idealization of maternity. The real Christina is beautiful, no question, but beautiful in the way that a real women is beautiful, not in this falsified, glamorized way that the media portrays her.

In 1991, Demi Moore debuted her nude, 3rd timester pregnant self on the cover of Vanity Fair and controversy struck as some claimed she had “sexually objectified herself.” Moore claims it was an attempt to portray just the opposite, an “anti glitz, anti hollywood attitude, not a pregnant sex symbol.” The real truth is that Demi’s picture on the cover of Vanity Fair, no less than the spread of Christina Aquilera, is just a pregnant version of celebrity glamorization.

We all pick up the magazines and stare but in doing so we may be acquiring unrealistic ideas of how we should look during our pregnancies. It’s not often we look at images like these and imagine what took place behind the scenes - the stylists who worked from every angle attaching hair extensions, applying make up, powdering noses. We’re all aware enough to have a good laugh at the shampoo commercials showing models with their lustrous hair being blown by a fan and cry – BS! – but are we self-aware enough to look objectively at the picture perfect pregnant Christina Aquilera and realize that not only do we not look like that but neither does she? The photograph doesn’t show the photographer who shone his lights in all the right places and cast shadows over the wrong ones. Or the techie who, post shoot, spent hours airbrushing the photograph to get Christina’s skin looking just so. Every bump, line, wrinkle, bruise, scar, blemish, mole and vein was removed; then a fake tan was added, or false nails, full lips, puffy cheeks, tinted eyebrows, and her belly digitally manipulated to create that perfect, that ideal curve. Sure it’s perfection but, like all things perfect, it isn’t real.

It’s a fair question to ask what good or, more to the point, what harm the media is doing by portraying false, unrealistically glamorized, even unhealthy notions of maternity. Is it possible that the messages we receive from the media shape and distort our ideas of authenticity and beauty and that the unrealistic portrayal of pregnancy among celebrities is provoking impressions of perpetual, negative self image.

Diamonds, heels, and a 3rd trimester belly? Really?

“For me, it’s an animal urge thing, she’s a fertile woman.”

So, you think you’re not sexy? Well, think again. Not only can pregnancy be sexy, it has a fetish all its own. It’s called maiesiophilia – or maieusophoria, or, more simply, pregnancy fetishism – and that man ogling you in the produce aisle may just be a real life maiesiophilliac.

Trust me, you needn’t be walking past a construction zone in an ass hugging pencil skirt and Jimmy Choos to get ogled by one of these guys. Hell, you don’t even have to take your curlers out. Just slip into your favorite pair of extra stretch panel maternity jeans, maybe pair it with the new petal pink Bella Band you recently bought or your always fashionable daisychain metro and – Whoa Mama! – you’re a sight to behold for any maiesiophilliac worthy of the name.

I know, I know. You’re sitting there with your swollen calves and your muffin top. You don’t recognize your own smell anymore. You’re obsessed with stretch marks. You may be playing the pregnant version of navel gazing by tracing with your finger along the tiny trail of fuzz that runs from your belly button down south while counting the months, the days until you’ll have your body back. Sure, you’re probably finding it hard to believe that anyone would find you sexy right now and you probably think I’m making this maiesiophilia thing up but it’s true, I swear!

A maiesiophilliac is someone who finds pregnancy erotic, someone who is sexually attracted to women who are pregnant or even appear pregnant. There is a wide variety of preferences to be found among maiesiophilliacs. Nudity or sexual activity is not essential in many cases and, for some, actual pregnancy is not even necessary to invoke arousal. An enlarged abdomen or a protruding navel may be enough to spark an interest. Maiesiophilliac fantasies may be about impregnation or giving birth, around lactation, or may centre on the belly leading to the pubic area. Without knowing him personally, it’s really hard to know what form a maiesiophilliac’s fetish will take.

So, what is it about preggos that really wind these guys up? Fascinated by the topic, I stumbled into a couple of chat rooms to see what I could see and – Wow! The walls sure can talk! Here are some samples of what I found. Candid confessions from maiesiophilliacs:

“I love pregnant women, there is something about them. They are just so ripe with sexuality, from their large breasts to their plump belly, to their luminous glow and raging hormones, everything about them is a reminder that these women enjoy sex.”

“Pregnant women nude is nature at its best and is just beautiful…..”

“I had the strange desire or craving to be a woman so I could get pregnant. I want to get pregnant, it kills me that I’m a guy and will never be able to experience this. When I was 18, in my room, I would put on my sister’s oversized top along with my ‘belly’ stuffed with a hard pillow and fake boobs supported by a bra, to emulate the pregnancy experience.”

“Their warm motherly image is so adorable”

Maybe you’re thinking, “Ew, what a sicko!” or “Gross! Total perverts!” or “Hmmm, interesting.” I was both amused and intrigued at what these belly lovin, navel adoring, lactating, child bearing wannabes were saying and, on some level, found their seeming appreciation for the beauty and, yes, even the eroticism of the pregnant female form, somehow touching. Whatever you may be thinking, now at least you know something about maiesiophilliacs that maybe you didn’t before and even knowing that they exist has to be some comfort on those days when you’re feeling particularly unsexy.

And hey! Don’t you feel better now about your protruding navel?

Scarves and girdles; belts and sheets. Hold my belly; rub my feet.

Your belly’s growing like a balloon on helium only it’s not exactly rising, it’s dropping, pulling and weighing you down. A feeling any woman who has ever been pregnant knows only too well.

So, how are you supporting your pregnant belly? Some days, most days, you’ll do just about anything to take the pressure off. You’ve acquired the habit of cradling your hands underneath to lighten the load. Maybe you’ve transformed that pashmina you wear with your favorite little black dress into a belly binding savior. Or maybe, in an act of desperation, you’ve gone to the attic rummaging for that horrific, girdle-like Velcro contraption your grandmother use to wear. Believe it or not, a woman (not naming any names) has been known to throw all dignity to the wind, pull the bed sheet off the line and wrap herself in it like a mummy – pun intended – just to get a little relief for her poor belly.

Regardless of the chosen method, if it works it’s gold! Supporting your tummy through pregnancy is not a new idea. Women have been doing it for ages. In many countries, like Japan, it’s a cultural tradition. Belly binding has been with us for about as long as women have been getting pregnant. It’s a habit that is constantly evolving and has increasingly been making its way into mainstream western culture to assist today’s modern moms-to-be with that age old problem of holding up their pregnant bellies.

Let’s take a look at the options.

Ewww…the girdle.

A girdle like this is as outdated as drinking and smoking during pregnancy! Oh, how times have changed – thankfully! Sure, girdles may work for some but, more often than not, the girdle just doesn’t do the job. And why would we expect it to? That’s not what it was made for. Using a girdle to support a pregnant belly is like using the oven to dry your blouse. The girdle’s stiff, oversized panel of Velcro will dig into your skin; it will be the ruin of your clothes. Sit down, bend over or pretty much move at all and it’s like having a tire rim around your abdomen. Motion and girdles just don’t go together. Oh, and let’s face it, wearing one of these babies doesn’t exactly do much in the ‘I wanna feel sexy’ department either!

Ahhh…the sheet.

It’s true, many have tried it at some point out of desperation. Usually on a day when we’re not expecting company, the doors are securely locked and the blinds drawn. It sounds crazy, I know, but the sheet, bless it’s cotton heart, can work. Wrapping yourself tightly in a sheet can be an effective way to relieve back pain as well as the pressure from your abdomen. So when home alone, don’t be shy. Grab the 60×80 Sunlight fresh panel of Martha Stewart love and take a load off!

Hmmm…the scarf.

In a pinch, this could work but will likely be a bit cumbersome and could interfere in what could’ve been an adorable maternity ensemble. You know what they say – a scarf is a scarf is a scarf. And though it is true that scarves and other fabrics are used in many countries for belly binding, with today’s modern, more fashionable options, why resort to a scarf? Do you use your toaster to fry an egg?

Yesss…the belt.

While the market is far from saturated with supportive and fashionable belts, there are some out there if only you know where to look. Be sure to check out the daisychain maternity line of support belts! They come sized and are totally adjustable, not to mention adorable so you can wear yours throughout your entire pregnancy. The fashionable maternity support belt is the modern method of belly binding for the 21st century. It’s a great option for pregnant moms-to-be who do not want to surrender style to comfort. Go ahead. Put one on. You’ll want to spread your arms and shout “Let’s go belly. It’s show time!

Supporting your pregnant belly is very important and there are amazing benefits to be gained. A support belt can relieve your back pain and abdominal pressure, improve posture and restore balance, ease exercise and daily activity and even reduce your chances of getting stretch marks. Wearing a support belt is completely safe and in fact your midwife or doctor will likely recommend one.

In the interest of full disclosure and, for those of you who don’t already know, she who is typing this is actually the daisychain girl and, yes, she is hawking the magic elixir but, for the record, she wouldn’t be if she didn’t believe in magic.

This year the Golden Globes was an event of red carpet glam and PREGNANT MOMS-TO-BE!

There must be something in the air. How else do you explain the fact that so many celebrities brought their baby bumps with them to this year’s Golden Globes. Oh sure, there was plenty of red carpet glam to be ogled, as always, but who expected to see so many celebrity moms-to-be? More than at any Golden Globes that I can remember, that’s for sure. Natalie Portman, all pretty in pink, waddled away with the Best Actress Globe for ‘The Swan’ – a must see, by the way – and 30 Rock’s Jane Krakowski’s ballooning belly was exquisitely wrapped in a long, eggplant purple gown that hugged her figure and showed off her baby bump to wonderful effect. Jewel was there with her glow on. Other pregnant celebrities in attendance included Nancy O’Dell, Nicole Sullivan, Tiffanie Theissen from ‘Saved By the Bell’, Tisha Campbell from ‘Martin’, Denise Boutte from ‘Meet the Browns’, Samantha Harris from ‘Dancing with the Stars’, Chase Masterson, Cristie Lynn Smith from ‘The Crazies’ Jessica Rey from ‘Power Rangers’ and ‘General Hospital’, Ariane Prie of ‘Modern Family’ and Constance Marie from ‘George Lopez’. It was as if these women got together and conspired to prove to the world once and for all that a woman can be pregnant and glamorous.

Under the circumstances, it seems only right that daisychain maternity put in an appearance. Many of the maternity celebs made their way to the aptly named Boom Boom Boom Room where they caught up with Karla Trotman, from the very popular Belly Button Boutique, who was serving up swag.

Your doctor has given you the green light and sex while your pregnant is a-ok. So, let’s get into position, shall we?
It’s the ride on the pleasure train that got you here, right? Well just because you are bigger and rounder doesn’t mean you need to derail for the next nine months, no way. Ladies…all aboard!
There are many positions that can work and feel great for you and your partner while you are pregnant and although you may not be wrapping your legs behind your head or swinging from the chandelier any time soon you can still get it on and maybe even enhance the bedroom fun!

Spooning Sex

This position is great as it avoids any pressure on your belly . With your man behind and you in front, you both have full access to reach in front and stimulate you into orgasm.

Doggy Style

This position can also feel great as there is no pressure being put on your belly. Your partner can enter you from behind and reach around to stimulate you at the same time. This can also be the perfect position for getting to your g spot! Near the end of your pregnancy this may not work as well as you may feel your abdomen pulling down and forward. If it becomes uncomfortable, listen to your body and change it up!

You On Top

With you up top, you are in total control and there is plenty of room for your belly. You control the angle, the penetration, the pace and you ALL know this is the best position for stimulating exactly what needs stimulating, where and when it needs it!

These positions are just to mention a few. Try new things with your sweetheart, likely the experimenting and adventure will bring you closer together! As long as you both are comfortable and safe, the sky’s the limit! Ladies, enjoy the ride! Pun indented.

So, you’re pregnant. Congratulations! Now what?

I know you’re all mommy warm and fuzzy about the wee one growing inside you, and so you should be. The nine months during which you’ll be carrying your baby will undoubtedly be among the most meaningful, most exciting and most joyous months of your life. Yes, Virginia, there is joy in pregnancy but not pure, unadulterated joy. Being pregnant isn’t all smiles and glow, you know.

For one thing, your breasts are about to swell along with other parts of your body. In all likelihood, at some point early on, your ankles will join with your calves to form cankles. Oh, and you can say “so long for now” to that flat tummy you’re so proud of. You won’t be seeing it for awhile.

And prepare yourself for the mood swings too, and the cravings. Expect to find yourself compelled by sudden urges to eat something strange in the middle of the night. And, should you happen to look down at the pickle sticking out of your ice cream and wonder if it’s okay to have sex, well, the good news is, yes you can. It’s perfectly safe. That, at least, is some consolation for the cankles.

One of the most common questions heard from first time moms-to-be is “can I have sex during pregnancy.” The short and simple answer is that sex is safe during all stages of a normal pregnancy where there is no medical history or indication of a risk of miscarriage or pre-term labor. In general, a healthy pregnant woman can, within reason, do pretty much anything during pregnancy that she can do when she is not pregnant, and that includes having sex. Naturally, this truism does not apply where there are complications, in which case, you’ll want to discuss the risks of having sex with a qualified healthcare professional.

So you’re healthy and your pregnancy is proceeding according to plan and, sure, you can have sex. Question is – “Will you even want to have sex?” Now that’s another kettle of fish.

Just so you know, it’s not uncommon for a woman’s sexual desire to fluctuate wildly during her pregnancy. During the first trimester, for example, when you may be experiencing such symptoms as fatigue, nausea and breast tenderness – not to mention the increased need to urinate – that handsome hunk of man you couldn’t get enough of a few months back might start looking like a hairy ball of yuck to you.

Once those symptoms start to subside, however, you may find your sexual desire returning. You may even find your desire returning with renewed vigor. Now, when you look at that hairy ball of yuck, you’re thinking “hubba hubba”. Don’t ask me why. That’s just the way it is.

And you may very well be amazed at how much fun sex can be without the condoms, IUDs, morning after pills and anxieties about getting knocked up. For many women, sex during pregnancy can be a heightened experience and orgasms even more pleasurable than at other times. Nor is it uncommon for Daddy to feel even closer to Mommy at this special time which can result in an intensified feeling of intimacy for both of you during sex.

So, the long and short on sex during pregnancy is let your body do the talking. If it’s telling you that you want sex, listen up. But, however you and your partner’s sex life may evolve and change during your time of pregnancy, always keep these two very important principles close at hand – one, have a sense of humor about it all because…well…you’re going to need it; and, two, talk talk talk sex as much as you need to in order to keep the lines of communication on this very important aspect of your family life wide open.

Next time, we’ll talk positions. That should be fun so stay tuned….
